For four years through Laugh Out Loud, One In Ten has featured wonderful performers who illuminate our lives from their own special point of view. And it has been hilarious.

Growing Voices, Growing Visions

Now in its seventh year, the Plant A Seed grant program cultivates and encourages new gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered filmmakers by providing funds to finance their next feature projects.

Although many festivals award filmmakers with dollars for their latest films, Reel Affirmations gives filmmakers a seed grant for their next project. The seed money can be used for any cost incurred while creating their next film.

Plant A Seed grant winners are selected by the Reel Affirmations programming staff for their potential to create challenging new works that will illuminate the experiences of the gay and lesbian community. This year’s winner will be announced at the Reel Affirmations Closing Night Party, Saturday, October 21.
